The following tables represent the comparative ranks of the main military forces in the Renegade Legion universe, along with their equivalent contemporary (2014 AD) US Armed Forces equivalents for direct comparison purposes.

Note: NATO grades and US military pay grades are included for comparative responsibility purposes and NOT for salary purposes. This is important, since a Legion in TOG is commanded by a Prefect of the Legion (OF-5), while the same sized Legion in The Commonwealth is commanded by a Major General (OF-7).
